This is an awesome facility. We have been so impressed by the comprehensive treatment team and treatment options. Most importantly, the staff is a dedicated group of people with a true vocation to help young adults turn their lives around. Words cannot fully express our gratitude. May God continue to bless your efforts and may you expand so that you can help more people in need of guidance.

My name is Levi Brown, and I have been a client at Benchmark Transitions since October 31st , 2017. Prior to my admission into Benchmark I was homeless, drug addicted, and severely mentally ill. I had given up on my career in the medical field, ruined relationships with family and close friends, I had legal trouble and unpaid court fines, and I had a long list of opportunities that I had missed out on as a result of my own self destructive behavior. I had buried myself beneath a mountain of self made messes from which I believed there to be no escape. I am both proud and excited to say that now, almost a year since I entered this program, nearly everything about my life has changed. With the help, and patience, of my case manager, Larry Aragon, my therapist and the treatment team here at Benchmark Transitions I have begun to recover. Webster's Dictionary defines the word “recover” as the act of regaining possession of something that has been lost, and that is precisely what this program has done for me. I have regained relationships, the trust of my loved ones, the respect of my peers, the career I walked away from, and most importantly, I have hope. I cannot express the full extent of my gratitude to this program, and in the future I would be interested in doing what I can to give back to the Benchmark community, and I look forward to mentoring future clients.

I was able to learn alot of things about my self and about the struggles that brought me here to benchmark.I was able to find A job while here at benchmark, regain what it was like to have an appartment and basic life skills with structured oversight and caring staff. Iam truly blessed to have found a great program and treatment team, such as my case manager Larry A who inspired, taught, and helped me along my stay here, he pushed me to work hard at building a foundation towards having a great life. Also grateful to have had an amazing therapist such as Toni. The groups were well structured and weekend activities were always a blast going to places such as the LA science museum, Lazer tag, and sky high which helped by learning to have a good time without any of the Old lifestyle habits. The facilities where amazing , the residential program was beautiful and brought you close with nature due to the horses, chickens and ranch lifestyle, and the outpatient house was huge very well kept, and included a pool, bbq area, and plenty of rooms for good comfortable living which allowed me to focus on my recovery.

I have been with Benchmark for little over a year. I have attended several different programs and this one is really great and aimed towards young adults. What makes benchmark different is the way the program works. You learn not only about addiction and sobriety but how to become a functioning adult. While I have been here I have attended college, worked 30 hours a week and hit the gym nearly every day all while learning about early recovery and gaining confidence in myself in ways I never have before. I recommend Benchmark Transitions to young adults needing to get back on the right track, the facility is top notch and everyone there is very skilled in what they do. Mike Clements is a great case manager he has helped me find work, stays on top of all my tasks I have to do and really goes the extra mile to help his clients. The staff at the detox Wildwood house is also very skilled and easy going helpful professionals . This is a place where people can gain their lives back.

One week ago today my son, who just turned 26, completed his program at Benchmark. He was placed at Benchmark through our insurance at a very critical time in his life. His addiction had taken him to rock bottom and Benchmark gave him the tools needed to help him in his recovery. The residential home placement is a very beautiful environment with supportive staff. There he began to learn how to handle his issues with his therapist, case manager, and equine therapy. Benchmark was very quick to assess and treat his medical needs and dual-diagnosis. Upon completion of his time there he transitioned to the outpatient phase of the program. He then had the opportunity to handle more responsibility, earning privileges, and gaining some independence gradually. He had a new treatment team which continued working with him with different therapies. He had a very good relationship with his case manager and therapist. They were both a very essential part of his recovery from his addiction and his behavioral needs. Larry, his case manager provided excellent communication and support, providing weekly updates and addressing all concerns that I had. I really appreciated how Benchmark recognized individual needs and work with clients in the areas that they struggle. I am very grateful for the progress my son has made with Benchmarks help. When he entered the program at Benchmark, his addiction had left him very broken and had damaged all of his relationships. Today he is in sober living, has a positive outlook, and is working on mending his relationships.

After several years of seeking help from various service providers a loved one stumbled upon Benchmark Transitions. The tailor made youth and young adult services provided by the organization led this loved one to the breakthrough needed to begin and stay on the path of sober and substance free mental, spiritual, and emotional wholeness.

Shelly and the rest of the staff made our visit so insightful and thorough! We were greeted by LaToya and her energetic ways. The staff (such as Jeannette and many others) took the time to show us how it all works. They seem to be cohesive and uplifting- even had a sense of humor! The chef was preparing nice carefully marinated racks of ribs for the client's dinner. More importantly, their therapists, case mangers and counselors stopped to talk about a day in life of the young adults there. Enjoyed Stephanie in the Education /Vocation room as she explained more about the testing and resources there. Christine was with us most of the time answering questions- she also gave us a thorough tour of the home our son will be staying. Samantha explained in depth conversations how clients can be helped by bio soundset, creative arts, exercise programs at Loma Linda and coping skills. Looking forward to a life-changing experience for our son! M & J

During my stay here, I have learned about myself, my addiction, and how to remain clean and sober. I learned how to follow a recovery plan by obtaining a sponsor, attending 12 step meetings, and how to develop healthy friendships. I have obtained my High School Diploma, and learned how to accept change. I appreciate all the Staff and Ishmael my Case Manager for helping me through my pain and struggles. Benchmark has saved my life. I have a good aftercare plan and I am ready to start my successful journey.

I really liked this place a lot. I was resistant and oppositional to start here but at some point in my treatment something changed. My therapist John and my Case Manager Michael treated me with patience and understanding that helped my transition into the young adult I am today. They were both firm and fair at the same time and did not take my malarkey. I learned the coping skills that I needed to help me deal with my challenges in life and how to live a productive full day. I would recommend this program to anybody who is looking for help with behavioral or substance issues 100%. I was on their behavioral track and I have grown tremendously in the time I was here. My relationship with my parents has been restored and it is the best it has been in the past 18 years I have been with them.

Benchmark Transitions has been a god-send to our family. Our son was in Benchmark’s program for five months following a three month wilderness program; the progress he made during his stay at Benchmark is incredible. Building on the foundation that was set during his wilderness stay, our son transformed from a lost adolescent caught in the turmoil of addiction to an independent young man equipped with the knowledge and tools to guide him through his recovery. The program itself was incredible, but the staff is what had the biggest impact on our son, specifically, Larry Aragon and Dr. Powell, our son’s case manager and his therapist. Larry’s support and guidance to both our son and us was invaluable, and Dr. Powell’s expertise was instrumental in our son’s recovery and growth. The care and support they provided our son and our family was paramount in helping all of us through this difficult journey. Both Larry and Dr. Powell left an indelible mark on our family, and we are truly indebted to both of them, as well as the entire Benchmark staff, for saving our son and helping rebuild our family. We highly recommend Benchmark Transitions to anyone seeking addiction treatment.

Benchmark Transition has made a huge impact on my life. I feel that I am coming out of this program a new man with endless opportunities in front of me. Before Benchmark I was a lost soul who had nothing else to lose. I now have everything to lose. Benchmark has shown me how to live a better life, free of substances and bad behaviors. I would highly recommend this program to all young adults who are struggling to excel in life. I owe this program my life. Amazing staff. My team here has done so much for me and have shown me the ways to a better lifestyle. Overall 10/10.

As of this writing, our son has been at Benchmark for 9 months. The person who entered the doors 9 months ago is not the same person we see and speak to today. Where our family has been and where we are today is light years away. When we found Benchmark, our son was in a psychiatric hospital for the 3rd time in 2 years. We were desperate to find a facility that would be able to work with the layers of issues he was dealing with. From the first phone call with Samantha, to the hand holding by Shelley (and, believe me, we needed hand holding), to the love and understanding that was given to our son and us, by every person we came into contact with, this experience has been life changing. The road has not been smooth and easy, that is for sure. After some kicking and screaming from our son, something clicked. The person in need of help has to want it and has to be willing to put in the work. Thank goodness our son wanted it. The results are well worth it. His team, namely, Larry and John, have been outstanding. I feel like “we” were a team working together for the benefit of our son. They were always available to speak and the conference calls (sometimes with our son) were most beneficial. They are caring and supportive and the relationship they have built with our son is outstanding. With the team's help, he is working, going to school, dealing and coping with everyday issues and is happy. No one can predict the future; however, things are looking quite optimistic for a bright future. He'll be coming home in a few months and we feel he's been given the opportunity to develop the skills to continue on in life and have a bright future ahead. Thank you, Benchmark.

Finding Benchmark was a true blessing for our family. The staff is highly qualified and supportive. Larry and Michael have been extraordinary case managers. They communicate with us regularly and are excellent mentors. The program is organized, structured, and offers real opportunities for students to launch successfully into adulthood.

Benchmark Transitions was definitely a life changing place for me. When I came to the program, I was committed to creating change in my life that would make my friends, family and most importantly: myself proud. I came to Benchmark Transitions straight from a wilderness program called Aspiro. I was grateful of the fact that I was going to be living indoors and sleep on an actual bed, rather than living in the wilderness. Benchmark taught me a lot about adapting to situations that I have no control over. For example if I had a disagreement with someone or something, I learned the best thing is to let go expectations and just go with the flow. Which has honestly benefitted my life today. Because before I came to Benchmark, I felt I was entitled to have and get everything. When in the real world, nobody owes me anything. Therefore, the program has taught me some real valuable lessons that I use out there in the real world today. Benchmark taught me a lot about healthy living, I lost a lot of weight while I was there. Especially keeping a tidy apartment. Benchmark helped me get a job at Amazon, encouraged me to go back to college, and helped me move into my own apartment today. Which all led me to finding more opportunities here in the Inland Empire. The biggest advice I can give to any body that interested in coming to Benchmark is be willing let go of your own expectations about how the program should be. Be willing to follow staff's directions no matter how crazy it might sound. Because sooner or later they will be very willing to work with you and help you with the goals you want to achieve after Benchmark. The staff will go the extra mile for you IF you respect them and work with them not against them. Also just keep a positive attitude here, because in the long run, it will help you so much out in the real world. I am thankful for this place, because I wouldn't be all that I am today without Benchmark Transitions.

A great program. I personally have had experience with Benchmark Transitions and have seen them save young people's lives. Drugs, alcohol, emotional problems - they deal with it all in a very comprehensive way that many programs out there don't. Young adults 18-28 are their specialty, and they work to turn lives around and get them back on track in a permanent way - which is uncommon but necessary for true healing, growth and recovery. They are incredibly caring people. Hopefully you don't have the need, but if you do, or know anyone that does, I highly recommend Benchmark.
